Why Post-Frame

The Most Building
per Dollar

Post-frame construction sets engineered laminated columns on footings and spans between them with girts and trusses. No continuous foundation wall, no interior posts, wide clear spans, quick erection. When you need to cover a lot of ground and you are not building conditioned living space, it is almost always the right call.

  • Wide clear spans — nothing in the middle of your floor
  • Fast build compared to conventional foundation and framing
  • Easy to expand with bays or lean-to additions
  • Phased finish — start open, enclose later, insulate after that

The tradeoff: post-frame is harder to convert to finished, conditioned living space than stick-built or a slab-on-grade structure. If there is any chance you will want an apartment or office in that building someday, tell us now and we will spec it differently.
